Story from the field: Parallanga Family -

Miftar Uke Parallanga, born in the village of Lubizhda, Prizren, married, father of four children, lives in difficult economic conditions. Currently, Miftar is unemployed, but works as a laborer on the road when there is any job. His family, as a social case, receives 95 euros per month. This family owns 45 acres of land, a house with strong material, but in very difficult conditions, in a house with no windows and doors, unfurnished, no kitchen and no bathroom – cruel conditions for him and his family members.

This family lives through humanitarian aid, and during the conversation, Miftar thanks Humanitarian Society "Mother Teresa."

"Mother Teresa Society has always opened its doors for my family, helping us with humanitarian aid, food and hygiene items, clothes etc, and offers us a helping hand whenever we need it the most, " Miftar said.

Miftar’s wife is ill and unable to work, since she is constantly undergoing health treatments; whereas, his children attend school, but in very difficult conditions since they have no possibilities to be supplied with textbooks.

All these notes and photos speak for the poor state of the family and especially of the innocent children, where poverty and misery is following them in this age; therefore, conscience and humanitarian soul is needed to assist this family.
